How to debug a cancelled SAP job – don’t miss this amazing feature.

H

Usually it is really a mess to handle with cancelled jobs in SAP system – especially if the job log doesn’t give you an understandable hint what happened.

But here you can use following feature to analyze what happened:

    • Start the job again in debug mode and check details of processing and errors.

How to debug a cancelled job in SAP:

#1 Select cancelled Job with transaction code SM37

#2 Select/mark cancelled job that should start in debugging mode and just enter JDBG into command field (t-code) field and push Enter.

#3 Now you have started job again in debug mode – happy debugging 😉
