WE02 within SAP is one of the most popular transactions to analyze IDocs. Here you can select IDocs based on various criteria, analyse the content and check status data. With WE02 you usually don’t select only one IDoc, you rather select a list of IDocs to check in total. E.g. you select all SHPMNT IDocs which have errors, or you select all ORDERS IDoc from one particular customer to check data inconsistencies.
But if you want to check content of a specific segment for several IDoc, then you usually click into each IDoc and check segment data – e.g. E1EDT20:
But within WE02 there is a possibility to check content of segment for a list of IDocs, so you don’t have to click in each IDoc:
#1 Mark IDocs on the lefthand-side
#2 Now click on Icon “List Specific Segment”
#3 Enter Segment for which you want to see data and push “Continue”
#4 Now segment data of E1EDT20 for all selected IDocs will be shown:
