SAP favorites – did you know how easily you can set transaction as favorite.

Usually within SAP-GUI you can set and manage your favorites in the start screen:

To add a transaction as favorite:

#1 Open transaction with the SAP menu tree

#2 Mark the transaction (one-klick)

#3 Push now “Add to favorite” button (star with a plus)

#4 Et voila … now the transaction is in your favorites

But if you are in SAP-GUI within a transaction the “Add to favorites” icon is missing.  With following small hint you can add every transaction into favorites easily – e.g.  Add VL01N – Create outbound delivery” to favorites:

#1 Transaction VL01N

#2 Just enter %_GCADDF (+Enter) into transaction field

#3 Now VL01N goes to favorites
